The Committee of Experts on Criminal Asset Recovery (PC-RAC) held its second meeting from 9 to 11 September 2024, in continuation of its work aimed at developing a new asset recovery legal instrument under the auspices of the Council of Europe. Discussions were held on the provisions of the zero-draft additional protocol to the Council of Europe Convention on laundering, search, seizure and confiscation of the proceeds from crime and on the financing of terrorism (CETS no. 198) and views were exchanged on different mechanisms used for confiscation of proceeds of crime, special investigative means used therefor and international co-operation in this domain. Professor Androulakis participated in the Meeting as a representative of the Conference of the States Parties to the Warsaw Convention.
