On Saturday 03 December 2022 the Piraeus Bar Association in collaboration with the Hellenic Criminal Bar Association organized a scientific conference dedicated to the memory of Professors Lambros Margaritis and Stefanos Pavlou which was focused on “Current Criminal Law Issues” and in particular on Extenuating Circumstances, Property Crimes and Alternative Procedures. The Conference featured speeches by prominent members of the criminal law community and was coordinated by Professor Ilias Anagnostopoulos, Professor Ioannis Giannidis, and Evangelos Kaisaris, Head of the Prosecutor’s Office of the Court of Appeals of Piraeus. Professor Ioannis Androulakis participated with a speech on the concept of financial damage in the new Greek Penal Code.
